iPhone 6S Predictions: Prepare for Significant Upgrades
According to rumors, Apple will bring a lot more than just a few upgrades in all the new Apple iPhone 6S. It’s possible that we will have the official announcement in September, the usual time period when Apple introduces their new products. “Apple remains silent, since they didn’t even mention the new phone,” remarked Issa Asad, Florida-based entrepreneur and CEO of Q Link Wireless and Quadrant Holdings of South Florida.
Here are popular iPhone 6S predictions: prepare for significant upgrades.
The new iPhone remains nameless, since apple hasn’t confirmed the 6S (which everybody believes to be the working title of the new Apple phone). Usually all the new “S,” phones contain just a few more powerful specs, like better CPU or bigger camera/screen. But since Samsung is constantly pushing them to greatness, people believe that this 6S iPhone will bring much more new features than just a regular “S,” upgrade.
The market was regained by 6 and 6 plus iPhone with bigger screens, but if Apple plans to yet again regain the phone market they will need to do something big. Technology analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the new iPhone will be a lot of a bigger deal than we expected. As one of the biggest upgrades that we should expect, he emphasizes on the new Force Touch feature that is highly likely to be included in the new phone.
The new Force Touch feature will monitor the screen so it knows how hard you pressed it. This feature is already implemented in the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and the 12-inch one. This makes your device pressure sensitive, which makes it react accordingly depending on the pressure of your touch. Kuo says that this will become the number one selling feature of the new iPhone.
With the new Force Touch features, we should also expect to see a new processor. More precisely the new Apple A9, which will increase the phones speed and power. Improving its RAM for 1GB, also the rear camera will be improved by 8 more mega-pixels. Kuo thinks that the Touch ID feature will become more accurate, and that the body of the phone itself will be stronger, and made from stronger materials than the previous version ones. He also states that it is highly possible for the new iPhone 6S to offer a Rose Gold color which is adopted by the new Apple Watch.
Kuo also believes, as many have believed in the last year that Apple will finally adopt the new Sapphire crystal display cover glass. Sapphire glass is considered to be a stronger and better solution than the Gorilla glass currently used on the iPhone. But the problem with Sapphire crystal is that it is way more expensive and more difficult to cut and manufacture. Also, GT Advanced, the official supplier of Sapphire glass for Apple went bankrupt this year. Kuo believes that a Sapphire display will possibly be offered as a limited edition of new iPhone 6S.
With all of this updates and upgrades to iPhone, it seems like we will be having, yet again a true market smasher from Apple. Was Kuo right or not? We will have to wait for the official announcement by Apple to see that.
